Affirmative Action
Good concept, poor implementation. It's time to get rid of it once
and for all. Where it once helped the merging of people in a racist
environment, it now only breeds racism and hate. In an ideal environment, it would have worked nicely. However,
in the environments that it has been implemented in, it only ends up breeding institutions filling quotas
because they are *required* to, not because they want to. People are racially cognizant enough now that this shouldn't
be a factor anymore, and making it a point to have to meet and exceed brings it to the forefront to be rehashed over
and over -- race will never NOT be an issue until you stop MAKING it an issue.
