It's
dying and by the time I'm old will be completely dead. These days, those who
are smart enough are already not relying upon SS to cover our asses (I certainly
am not) and are planning our retirement in unrelated ways. If there is a system
in place when I get to retirement that provides me a check, great. I'll gladly
take it, as much as I've contributed to the system and will continue to
contribute over the years. However, at the same time, I'm not going to hold my
breath.
