Marriage and the Continuance of Life
Assuming nothing weird happens, I am getting married on the 28th of February — this coming Saturday. It really does not feel like it, however, since it will pretty much be a day like any other day. Since the wedding is small and quick, we’re not even really dressing up, we’re just wearing something nice and standing up for a 15-20 minute service and that’s it. We’ll be having supper out afterwards at a restaurant, but that’s about it.
I don’t know….marriage is a Big Deal™ to me and a lot of other people, but this whole private thing is going to really bug me. Like my fiancée has said, “I don’t really feel the part.” I have to agree totally.
