General TODO List for the Next Version
As always, I reserve the right to change what these are, when they'll appear, if they'll appear, and how they'll appear. But, in no specific order or sense, here's a general list of the upcoming plans I have for HooDaHek:

  1. Yahoo Messenger support
  2. Database redo -- split the records to have first and last names as separate fields.
  3. Possible integration with some addressbook package like My Address Book from FuzzyMonkey.org
  4. Add in phone types to designate cell, home, work, school, pager numbers.
  5. Add in the ability to hide the display of certain numbers on the web interface, show less fields, etc.
  6. Add in Actions -- this is a big one. Will allow you to specify actions to take on an incoming call from that number, such as:
    • Do nothing and let it pass through.
    • Kill it without answer and without VM.
    • Give it the TeleZapper and kill it.
    • Send it directly to a VM box without ringing through.
    • Send it directly to a MeetMe conference.
    • Play a particular sound file before passing through.
    • Have it jump to a particular context and line.

  7. Blacklisting -- Some of these actions go along with the above "Actions" item, but special for blocking calls:
    • Blocking Type:
      • Block with Telezapper and Hangup
      • Block with ringing indefinately
      • Block with "not taking your call" message and Hangup
      • Block with screaming monkies or otherwise
      • Block by sending to voicemail w/o ringing
    • Notification:
      • Never notify on block
      • Notify on block, but don't ring
      • Notify on block and ring the phones once to let me know
  8. Timed actions -- for instance, perhaps have it so between 10pm and 7am all calls except Mom and Dad go directly to VM.
  9. Some reporting actions, such as people who called last month, things like that.
