RECOMMENDED TOOLS
3rd party tools I recommend.

EditPlus - THE best text and code editor for Windows, hands-down. Syntax hilighting of tons and tons of languages, webpage preview mode for HTML files, extremely powerful search and replace, and the ability to handle PC, UNIX, and Mac formatted text files makes this an invaluable tool for any programmer dealing with Windows. Plus, a license is only $35! What a deal.
