I am currently employed as the Director of Applications, Information Technology, for AirLife headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI. We are a manufacturer and distributor of consumable respiratory therapy products — basically plastic devices like masks, tubing, breathing circuits, respirator tubing, etc. that doctors would use on you if you have surgery or need help breathing, etc.

My team is in charge of all software globally for the corporation, from ERP systems to warehouse management to sales.

I have been professionally involved with computers since 1998 and personally since the age of 12.    Besides many years in IT management, I am a seasoned Windows and Linux systems and network administrator, software developer in several languages, and a well-rounded computer geek in most areas.

I have backgrounds in the long-term care industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial manufacturing systems, sales and distribution, warehousing, and regulated spaces including all the requirements surrounding adherence to FDA, MHRA, DEA, and SoX regulations.   A customer-serving and technology-as-a-business-asset mindset is essential in how I operate IT systems for the companies I service.
